Title: Mirrodin pure/New phyrexia Spoilers.

As of today, 2 cards from the third set in the Scars of mirrodin block were spoiled.
Find any more spoilers? post em here.

Actually, one is fake, the other's from a real set. I know the set's going to be Mirrodin Pure, (Come on, people. The TALISMANS from original Mirrodin were a cycle... they would have to make a cycle for this set, which means they're actually thinking the cards through, which means they'll probably be played by real Magic players, which means the cards will be real, which means the set is too!

Phew... that's a lot of logic for 3 lines of text!

Actually they can both be real.

Just cause one has the emblem form "The wrong set" doesn't mean they can't take that emblem away and put the actual set symbol on it.

And about you saying that it will be Mirrodin Pure, Hasn't Maro, via Twitter, already confirmed it to be New Phyrexia.

it says that theyre both from the 3rd set,
but they'll both be released with the same expansion symbol from the new set.
they just dont want anyone to figure out whether its called "mirrodin pure" or "new phyrexia" yet :P

@ MorbidAnimosity: Soul sisters deck is a freaking awesome and totally fun life gain deck, based around eight copies of Soul Warden (Soul Warden from M11 and Soul's Attendant from Rise of the Eldrazi). I can remember a few of the creatures, but for the other spells my mind's blank.

felidar could fit in but it;s cost is high compared to the rest of the deck, easily subject to removal, and it doesn't offer that much.   The beast of a pridemate and the serra provide the wincons.

I don't know how viable soul sisters would become with these new cards.  part of the sisters power was you gained life from the opponents creatures as well which in turn boosted pride and serra., these cards don't offer that, so your already cutting your boosting in half. Not to mention the tutoring it got from the ranger was tremdous for it.  I personally feel losing the ranger hurt it more then losing the other cards combined.

we're probably not gonna see many more spoilers for "action" for at least a month :( ...

and ANYWAYS,
i think the card would probably be used in some kind of white-black deck that abuses creatures coming into play.
if you were to use Blood Seeker with it...

Probably to keep you guessing which faction is going to win you know by making both cards commons but still amazing so it makes you ponder the possibilities of which set you want to win and which set seems more logical to win

no actually it wouldnt, because they said they had the two different icons because they dont want you to know which one is gonna win. So the art for those two has obviously already been made and they will both be in the new set. the fact that the backround for the talisman kinda sucks just means the artist didn't make one.

I personally don't see how the Mirrans can win, even though the Praetors are on the brink of a civil war I just cannot in any way believe action will be called Mirrodin Pure. Phyrexia is just too powerful this time. Unless Karn pulls a stereotypical heroic force of will/magical I can beat the monster within/ I will not turn to the darkside/ (Insert any episode of any tv. show regarding any form of corruption be it religious, magical, mechanical, symbiotic, parasitic, psychic, heredetary, psychological, genetic etc... ) act, mirrodin is doomed. Either that or the red praetor is gonna blow it up...

PS: Anyone else think Elesh Norn will be the most attractive of the praetors? I know I'm just going by sillohuette here, but I doubt Sheoldred will be attractive based on her sillohuette.

i think Mirrodin can. Karn can't stay evil (sorry old mtg fanatic in me stirring. bring back Weatherlight crew!!! Squee, tangarth, and Sissay survived phrexia and courtesy of timespiral could be around.) Second theory Karn is an artificial planeswalker. Venser could be the next urza and figure out how to restore Karn's spark. Karn can also travel through time, Venser making a similar sucess could save Karn.  Third mirrodin is united, Phrexia is not one as it is. mirrodin has at least 3 planeswalkers on their side (koth Venser Elspeth (Ajani is friends with Elspeth. Jhoira, teferi, and Jeska could come into play karn's friends)

Finally my fourth theory is that the suns will be forced back to the planet's core destroying phrexia.

course if Phrexia makes karn time travel it could all be over.

1)  Karn isn;t evil he is confused. but I do agree he will become good.  also the current events are suppose to be taking place about 100 years after the mending, so sorry most likely no weatherlight "crew" as cool as that would be.

2)  If I could recall, Karn could only travel through time on domeria through the rifts that existed, it wasn't an ability that he could do at will.  I don't think he will get his spark back, however my theory is, the weather light did become a part of him when the legecy weapon was formed, including its planes traveling engines which will give him planeswalking abilities and the weatherlight became a sentiant being, and will take over the role in karn that xanthia heart has(which will be removed), 

3)  United we stand, divide we fall-I agree the mirrans will win since they stand together.  The phryexians will evidently fall to in fighting. and in the end Elspeth will refind her honor and go back to help bant to help finish up that storyline

Another possiblity is that one of the planeswalkers dies (my guess would be Koth) and then venser uses memenarch's spark transfer machine is used to move their spark into karn

NEW SPOILER:

As of recently, there was a new wallpaper for "Vorinclex, voice of hunger" on the magic site.
Vorinclex is no doubt, going to be a card in "Action".
Vorinclex is, quite obviously, phyrexian.

My brother got one in phsyical cards. The top 2 that played with a deck formated to phyrexia or myridan would get a copy of the card. They both are real.

The artwork looks amazing.

In regards to the story line I am hopeing for Phyrexia. Magic has long used it as the most Evil of the multi verse. It would not suprise me that a great majority of the events that have taken place were set in motion by Phyrexia.

It would appear as though I am correct about Elesh being the most attractive of the praetors. Unless Mr. Gitaxias manages to appear more attractive (doubtful based on his insectoid sillohuette.) I can safely say with confidence Elesh Norn is the hottest phyrexian alive (or undead as the case may be.)

She's got the hips of a goddess (appropriate) plus she isn't scary, just sort of misunderstood. Now Sheoldred's got some junk in the trunk, but come on Elesh is just so more...voluptous (I guarantee I mispelled that.) And for Gods sake where does it say in the any culture that necrophilia is a horrible thing?

for those of you that dont know...

"Action" will include phyrexians in all 5 colours (yes, even red) ,
There is a praetor for each colour.

Elesh norn, grand cenobite = White
Urabrask the hidden = Red
Vorinclex, voice of hunger = Green
Jin-gitaxias, auger of the core = Blue
Sheoldred, whispering one = Black

So now that we know there will be a "sword of war and peace"...

What do you think it will do???

(obviously protection from white and red - which is gonna be VERY useful against battle cry decks o.o ...)

and im thinking...
its probably gonna have an ability something like lightning helix? (gain 3 life and deal 3 damage to target creature or player)

either that or some kind of white token ability,
And maybe something that makes your opponent discard their hand and draw 7??? (an ability in ALOT of red cards)

-2 =  Proliferate

-8 = you get an emblem with " (1 colourless mana) = put a +1/+1 counter on target creature with infect

(starting loyalty) = 3

hate to bust your bubble, but it is unlikely-the infection is spread by the oil and Karn carried the oil inside him for centuries.  It did not take ahold of him until he lost his spark, so it can be save to say that the spark provides an immunity to the infection.  Though that was an old spark, maybe the new ones can be overcome by it.

but any way what about

3BG               Loyality 4

+1:  Put a -1/-1 counter on target creature

-2:  Put a poison counter on target player

-6:  Gain an Emblem that Says "4:proliferate"

Cleverly, someone boosted the view count (which is very easy to do) in order for this to be the top viewed article. Maybe someone should contact Sync and have a new system where there's a thread of the month or something? Just to make sure threads like this stay relevant for long enough.
