Sooo, i went to a prerelease today.
i went, and we each got 3 packs of either mirran or phyrexian besieged stuff,
and 3 packs of scars of mirrodin.
i got a foil rare and a venser in one pack :)

the rares i got in the mirran packs, was darksteel plate, victory's herald, and myr turbine

i made a red/white battle cry deck in the draft.

Anyone else go to a prerelease? post about it here.

Went representing the Mirran Faction with a RW deck, which was a weenie and metalcraft blend

Scars-got precursor golem, steel hellkite, and razorverge thicket-only played the precursor of these three

For Besieged- got Hero of Bladehold, Sangromancer, and Knowledge Pool-only played the bladehold, considered splashing black for the Sangromancer and go for the throat but decided the double black was to rough with no fixing

Specific Cards that stood out to me-

Bladehold is as badass as you would think she is.  Being able to attack with a 3/4 and an ever growing number 2/1's won me a couple matches by herself,

Precursor didn't work to well for me-he got me metaqlcraft once, and another time thought I was going to hit for 18 after assult strobing him and his buddies, but a well timed turned the tide runned that idea. he was good for removing removal.

Turn the tide-didn't play this but had it used againest me well enough to mention it screws weeies and battle cry

Piston Sledge-a suprisingly under-rated gem-can't remember how much life I took from opponents placing this on goblin gaveleer or leonin skyhunter turn 3

Ogre resister- a 4/3 body for 4, making him a great value

concussive bolt-couldn't pull off metalcraft enough when in hand to make it worthwhile, ended up removing it after 2nd round

Rally the forces -paired really well with bladehold and her kin

Spin engine- got through alot of defenses,  The 1 toughness didn't seem to matter since nothing blocked it especially againest phyrexia, and their lack of direct damage/removal
