Title: Competition!!!

I thought of a neat little competition that you could do with your local friends and playgroup. Okay, so you sit in a circle with your friends, and you each choose two standard cards. Then the player to your right must create a standard deck with a playset of each of those cards. Razor Boomerang should not be chosen. What do you guys think? Does it sound like fun?

There are cards that are nearly impossible to use well, like Magosi. Often, people will just throw in a card and not do anything with it.

Part of the fun of doing something like this is since it is not competive you can take the time to explore different possibilities and make cards like magosi work, especially of you have an open field to draw from

But if it is going to be limited to just standard you do have a point.  What you can do is get a booster pack, shuffle it then everyone draws two cards randomly and take it from there, that way nobody can just choose bad cards.  When things are random like this it evens the playing field and pushes things more because you might be forced to play colors you don't normally choose.

Okay, so somebody chose Emrakul and Razor Boomerang(I let him) for me. Here's the decklist:

4x Emrakul, the Eons Torn

4x Razor Boomerang

4x Grand Architect

3x Soliton

3x Etched Champion

2x Wurmcoil Engine

2x Silver Myr

3x Kraken Hatchling

2x Caller of Gales

2x Merfolk Observer

2x Spell Pierce

2x Mana Leak

1x Dispel

2x Preordain

22x Island

1x Magosi, the Waterveil

I think that that adds up to 60 cards, but I'm not sure. Anyway, please post your comments. Remember that I must keep all of the Emrakuls and Razor Boomerangs.

With all the artifacts you have in here you might shoot for stoic rebuttal to replace mana leak. its a lot better than the leak here and is not contingent on your opponents mana supply.

You only have 59 cards. you might want to take out the hatchlings and put in mass polymorph. that should bring in your eldrazi.
