Post any kind of forgotten-about cards here, or under-rated cards.

Zoetic cavern, a land you can cast as a creature first. this is a VERY good card because you can play it as a creature - not counting towards the one land per turn limit.

hit/run is a very good card both teh hit side and the run side are very affective i own two and use them both in my red/black control

Hmmm... Let me think...

Staff of Domination was (sort of) under-rated during its release as a standard card but look at it now... even got banned from EDH... but it wasn't really forgotten though...

underrated/forgotten? lots of cards come to mind, mostly red. but heres a good black critter for you:

Apprentice Necromancer.

cast him and then entomb/bury alive a sun titan.  use his ability, returning him and the titan to play, swing for 6, on turn 1-2. lol

Lord is ok, but so easily killed. Also, the mana is a problem. A funny EDH general.

This is way better than it seems. If they had a bad starting hand, mana flooded or screwed, set them back three turns.

How about veldikan archmage. 0/2 cast and artifact draw a card, my scarecrow deck got all but banned from our friday night game because of that card.

Grotesque Hybrid is nice. 3/3 death touch and can get flying and pro red and white for 1 card. You should try to have some pump up for it since it would take 7 turns for that alone to kill a player.
My idea of wound reflection counters many of the loss prevention ideas. Not platnium angel, but the ones that say if you would take damage that would reduce you life total below 1 prevent that damage. This causes them to lose life which that doesn't stop. And then they are dead.

Liege of the tangle, i would say this is a little under-rated.
i havent seen a single deck in scars standard using this, and its generally not that well known of.

but if you look at it really, its surprising its not OVER-rated, this would be great in a R/G valakut deck.

i managed to get a playset of kor spirit dancers, academy researchers, eldrazi conscriptions, and indestructibility's the other day... for like 12 $ :D
