Here is a blue deck i have
would like opinions on how to make it better

And just to clear up any misunderstandings yes it is gifts given the holiday promo card from 2007
and deprive is in there because i only have 2 counterspells

why guile if you only have 3 counter cards, unless you are going for a beater inwhich case go with deep sea kraken, which would work with your time bugs. but other then that can't help because can't tell what your trying to do i see draw and library manupliation which makes me think archmage but therir is only 1 archmage, not enough beats to go the arrgo route, their is some excell but not sure what excelling into since there are only 3 high costing cards 4 including light house

so what do you want this to do and we can go from there.

Do you see what erayo and arcane laboratory do together?
thats half of the idea of this deck
the other have is chronozoa + filigree sages + Timebug + training grounds + khalni heart gem for a ton of 3/3 beatdown
and i can also use the infinite mana combo to activate erayo or with gifts given to cast opponents spells
I have been trying to get another archmages ascension but some of my friends wont trade because they dont want anything i have
and yes i know i can use another arcane laboratory but no one has one

Make it more based on the Erayo, Arcane combo. . .

Yeah I saw the erayo/arcane and am well aware what it can do, however I didn't consider it to be a major part of the decks strategy. with only 2 erayos and 1 arcane the odds of you having them out together plus hitting the requirements for erayo, are slim and can't be counted on, you do have some draw and deck manupliation which can help find it but while your looking your opponents are beefing up. personally i think of all the colors blue has the weakest early game creature wise, blue is able to make it into the mid games through countering and bounce. you lack those things so how are you going to stay alive while your looking for this or your other combo, which might not not reach complition since it is 5 cards. at least it wounldn't at my table. the archmage would help since you can find your pieces but with only 1 you wont be able to trigger it most of the time.

Personally I think you need to focus on one of these combos and build it up from there. Ill post something to help you with the 2nd combo making it less cards.

Jace, the Mindsculptor helps get out the Archmage's ability earlier. If you have the money! (^_^)
