Title: interesting/oddly useful cards?

I was looking at this card; Pain's Reward.. and realised, this is a really good card.
you can bid life,
if your opponent doesnt bid when you start with a low bid,
you draw four cards for like, 1 life or something.
and your opponent will only keep it going so that you dont get that benefit for low amounts of life,
in which anytime you can decide not to bid to make your opponent pay a bunch of life.

Endless Horizons is AMAZING, but everyone overlooks it. It, by itself solves all problems of being mana flooded or screwed.

I am pretty sure that it also works with dual-lands, too.

I do like Pain's Reward. I use it in my Seizan, Perverter of Truth EDH deck with stuff like Repay in Kind, Temporal Extortion, Wound Reflection, and Magus of the Mirror.

Yep. With Seizan out I just go suicide for cards until I'm down to 2, repay in kind, everyone dies on their upkeep. :D
