Title: mox opal and palladium myr; way too good?

mox opal, in an artifact deck...
with a starting hand with 3 of them means an extra 3 mana from turn one...
which you could use to cast a palladium myr ON TURN ONE,
and with a land...
that would mean 6 MANA BY TURN 2!
that could be a turn 2 wurmcoil engine...
a 6/6 deathtouch/lifelink creature on turn 2???
no way your opponent is gonna last long...

of course, you would have to be REALLY lucky to get a starting hand with a palladium myr, and 3 mox opals...

They made it Legendary for a reason. If it wasn't, it would be overpowered. It is still good in EDH though.

even though...
it makes it harder for the players who dont have alotta money to get cards,
because the players who DO have alotta money for getting magic cards, can get a playset of mox opals pretty easily...
