Title: Prolinfecteler.

Took the idea from MorbidAnimosity. An attempt at a standard infect/proliferate/level-up deck. Most of the
cards use infect and a few have proliferate and only one level-uper, so
it's more like an infect deck.

They all seem to have good
synergy. Guul Draz assassin looks like it would work wonders with
infection decks. For most creatures, they would only need a few -1/-1
counters and Guul Draz could finish them off.

Whispersilk Cloak to let all of those creatures with infect to go right through.

Threw
some proliferate in there to hopefully speed up the process of my
opponent having too many poison counters or killing off a bunch of
creatures.

Nature's Spiral and Copse Cur help bring back anything (especially with infect) back to wreak havoc.

Also would like
suggestions for my sideboard. The only thing I can think of is
Naturalize.

Ichorclaw Myr x3
Contagion Clasp x3
Contagion Engine x2
Blight Mamba x3

Whispersilk cloak x3
Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon x2

Frankly I would not deal with the 1 level up.  it won't be that beneficial in the long run.  I would lose both of those and lose the necropedes (plague stinger and mamba are better 2 drop), and replace them with some mana accel like cultivate, your clasp and engine will tie up alot of mana to use, not to mention cultivate will increase your odds of drawing creatures rather then lands.

I could only understand about half of your post, Gericault. Did you mean drop the Plague Stingers and Blight Mamba's?

Guess what, some people actually want constructive criticism on their decks, not just "my standard deck win the game in 3rd turn". I would suggest making a comment about how he could improve the deck.

The Diabolic Tutor seems like a waste of mana.

hey guess what turbine, i just told him how to improve his deck. congratulations at failing reading comprehension.

i bet you get ALL the girls with your skills of failing.  dont be pissed at me because you cant come up with a deck that wins,  and you turn down good strategy in favor of bad ones because you think "its more awesome!"  so when i comment and help other people, you of all people, have the least useful things to say.  kthxbai

p.s. - Turbine is at least correct in that Diabolic Tutor is a waste of space.

Um jmb look at tjhe post above your.s. he was talking to that guy with the I have a turn 3 win but its super secret and I can.t tell you

Scotty yes drop the necros and assassin add cultivate. With the extra spotand droping the tutors you can add some removal or vines of vastwood which might be the better option

Thank you for the suggestions everyone!

Gericault: Cultivate isn't bad. I may put that in there. I feel the Necropede's are a good addition. They are cheap, they have infect, and they have a good ability if they die. Why do you suggest taking them out?

I can agree with the Contagion's. They are pretty darn expensive. I'll probably drop them.

I'll probably drop the tutors and add Vines of Vastwood. I didn't know about that card. It's awesome. With infect it would work really well, too.

What would you suggest for removal? Good ol' Doom Blade?

Turbine: There doesn't seem to be much unblockable stuff. I wish there was. It would make an infect deck even more deadly. The only thing I can think of that could make creatures unblockable is Distortion Strike. Unfortunately, it's blue.

I changed it a bit. I keeping the Necropede's and the assassin. I think they just work too well. Let me know what you all think:

Ichorclaw Myr x3
Blight Mamba x3
Corpse Cur x3
Hand of the Praetors x2
Necropede x3
Plague Stinger x3
Vector Asp x2
Whispersilk cloak x3
Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon x2
Guul Draz Assassin x2
Nature's Spiral x3
Cultivate x3
Vines of Vastwood x3
Doom Blade x3

Evolving Wilds x4
Forest x8
Swamp x10

why did you remove contagion clasp?

it could be alternate win con you know when your opponent is creature removal...

Eh... it just seems too expensive. The clasp isn't too bad, but four mana could go a long way for other things haha. :)

hmmmm, you might be right but i repeat again... what about against mass removals?

i think it might have a problem against white weenies... don't you think so?

I changed it quite a bit. I think it's much better. It's now Blue/Green. Weird, I know, but it seems to work. Here's the list:

Ichorclaw Myr x3
Necropede x3
Blight Mamba x3
Cystbearer x3
Thrummingbird x3
Birds of Paradise x3
Distortion Strike x3
Canopy Cover x3
Mana Leak x3
Whispersilk Cloak x3
Stoic Rebuttal x3
Groundswell x3
Cultivate x2

Evolving Wilds x4
Forest x9
Island x9

I'm thinking of taking out the Birds of Paradise and adding Corpse Cur. Also possibly replacing Groundswell with Livewire Lash, which would work really well with Distortion Strike.

Edit: I might also take out Cultivate and add Nature's Spiral for help with any kind of mass removal or creature killing. If I have three mana available to use for Cultivate, then I can play everything except Corpse Cur (if I put it in). So, there's really no point in having it, in my opinion.

Not good enough!!!

It leaves your opponent free for a direct attack!

... and?

This is an infect deck, dude. I can use is ability once, then he's useless.

You only need to use it once. This is an infect deck, after all.

Or I can use Distortion Strike, Whispersilk Cloak, Canopy Cover, Groundswell and (if I decide to put it in the deck) Livewire Lash and get multiple uses out of them. Especially Distortion Strike. I really do appreciate the suggestion, but he's not going in the deck.

Yeah. Having that in there makes me really want to put in Livewire Lash. The creature would basically get +5/+0 and be unblockable. Then, I can use it again next turn because of the rebound. :)
