// Deck file for Magic Workstation (http://www.magicworkstation.com)

// Lands
7 [M11] Forest (3)
9 [DM] Swamp (2)
4 [ROE] Evolving Wilds

// Creatures
3 [M11] Mitotic Slime
2 [M11] Viscera Seer
4 [M11] Reassembling Skeleton
3 [ROE] Pawn of Ulamog
4 [M11] Birds of Paradise
4 [ROE] Nest Invader
4 [ROE] Mortician Beetle
4 [ZEN] Bloodghast
4 [M11] Bloodthrone Vampire

// Spells
4 [M11] Sign in Blood
4 [ROE] Growth Spasm

Any comments? Should i use cultivate (for better landfall trigger from bloodghast)? should i use other spells or creatures?

BTW this is in standard...

EDIT: This is the edited version...
I'm keeping the bloodghast for the landfall ability...
I'm adding more pawn of ulamog for the Reassembling Skeleton combo... for 1 black mana, you get +2/+2 or a scry... plus a +1/+1 counter on mortician...

Removed doom blade as i realize i need to end it fast...
Removed 2 viscera seers...

stop stealin my decks from my card boxes (coulda sworn i posted it on here), Shakii! lol

nah, ive had this deck for a lil while, and it works pretty decently.  a few changes that i suggest, that worked great for me:

-1 Nest Invader
  +1 Overwhelming Stampede

-4 Evolving Wilds
  +4 Verdant Catacombs

-4 Viscera Seer
  +4 Jinxed Idol

-4 Birds
  +2 Mitcotic Slime
  +2 Awakening Zone

-4 Doom Blade (keep them in the sideboard, though)
  +1 Awakening Zone
  +2 Grave Titan
  +1 Overwhelming Stampede

-4 Bloodghast
  +4 Bloodthrone Vampire

* The vampires instead of ghast is another sac engine, along with jinxed idol. and if they sac creatures to give you the idol, GREAT! your beetle got bigger.

* Grave Titan is a beast late game that provides more tokens for the beats, and sacrificing, and is something they pretty much have to deal with right away.

* Stampedes give you the evasion and beatdown you need to win.

*Zone gives you a steady stream of tokens to block with, then sacrifice for mana to make the beetle bigger, or sac for idol, vampire, etc.

but thats my deck i have.   so good luck with it and have fun. :)

if youre building on a budget, i can see how the grave titans can be a problem, but most of the other cards go for around 1-2 bucks.  in which case

-2 Titan
  +2 Bloodghast
