Creature (16)

Artifact (7)
Land (16)
Instant (2)
I milled most of my opponants with Grindclock. The 1 drop archers helped protect against flyers obviously. Slice in Twain stoped the arrest that most the white decks I played had in them or it would take care of any pestky artifacts. I used it against a Wurmcoil engine, that pissed the controller off. I got 7th out of 20 with this deck, all and all, a pretty good night. Also, Sunblast killed alot of tapped creatures.

Aaagh!!! I forgot about this, and I took apart my deck. But I usually won with either molten tail masticore, or a Spikeshot Elder equipped with a Grafted Exoskeleton.

My GF placed 8th out of 20 which is pretty for being the only girl there. At M11 prerelese she placed 6th. I'm proud of my baby for kicking ass. Anyway, on saturday she built a red/black deck that ran these two as a combo:

During one game I noticed that she had 3 copies of the wurm in play along with several of the tokens it produces. She had people sweating not only for the way she played but because they were losing to a girl.

she also ran this little number as a win condition. wipe there creatures

If she failed to get the 1 axe out she would use this instead. she had 2 in her deck.

plus she was running infect. I never got a chance to play against her at the event (thats a good thing) but we played at home and it was 2/1 her.

My Deck was Elspeth Tirel's Board sweep with Tokens!

Gain some life, make Tokens, gain more life, get more tokens, Myr Battle Sphere with more tokens, BOARD SWEEP!

That was fun, now I got two more Myr Battle Sphere and now i'm looking for Myrsmith.

How did you mill all the way with Grindclock?

sometimes I couldn't. Everyone there played with 40 card decks so by the time I had 5 or 6 counters on it, I could tap it each turn for that many cards and mill them in 4 more turns. It won the majority of the games I played. One game I was able to batter my opponant with flying creatures. Call it luck but for the most part I was defending myself good enough to stay alive till turn 6, 7or 8 than milling. Lots of artifacts with shroud helps too.
