so, how many ppl here will be attending a pre-release for this set? I'm going to start a post the day after with my deck list. I think it would be interesting to see what everyone built. Good idea?

Daily MTG has just told the world that tomorrow they will show us the entire set. So this is the last day of spoilers. There are 4 new ones so far today:

Scars of Mirrodin - Molten Psyche

Molten Psyche is great! One of the better red cards I've seen so far. Obviously the Trigons are a cycle, should have noticed but I have only seen the blue one and the red one so far. Truble Mag has been spoiled but I havn't seen it yet so I figured I would post it here. Enjoy!

we have sealed constructed at prerelease and at release.  then after a few rounds we start drafting.
our store comes out with some major cash at those things (about $40 per person, plus w/e boxes they sell lol)

The two promo cards for the Scars of Mirrodin game day events to be held on October 30th & 31st have been announced.  Each location running the event will be receiving 50 full art Memntie cards to give away to players entering the event.  Additionally the top eight players will receive full art foil Tempered Steel cards with two additional copies to be given at random to players in the event.

I was hoping the launch party promo would be a sword of wind and blah blah but I just found out that it will be a steel hellkite. Not bad but not Mythic either. I might just have to attend that draft party to get mine! BTW there are no pics availible that I can find.

This link provides all the info on gameday along with an event loacator. I beleive Gameday is wizards first look at how a new set will do in standard on a globle scale. Thats why they require the organizers to not only document decklist but they have to feed them into the DCI system unlike FNM. The prizes are very uniqe and they give players 1 month to prepare.

It should be anywhere that preordered the booster boxes. In my city the place is called TBS comics. They said they order 20 cases each have 6 boxes inside and 6 promos. If they have extra promos, they sell them for 10$ each.

They aren't supposed to sell them. . .

At least, that's what it is with cards from the DCI.

I'm sad that I'm missing out on the Wurm. The Hellkite looks cool too though.
