I know everyone likes to play control decks, but is anyone else getting annoyed by how much creature removal is being played right now. I've got a few friends that have gone to creatureless decks because of it.

Aggro decks and combo decks are mostly composed of creatures.. No creatures, no damage or no combo so why not put creature removals right?

Pyroclasm, terminate, agony warp, maelstrom pulse, disfigure, infest, volcanic fallout...the list goes on, but there is always the problem of running into another creature kill deck. In which case both players sit around and agonizingly await the inevitable deck out, or until someone drops mind funeral.
It's not so much annoying as it requires you to put more thought into what you cast. Unearth creatures are an excellent way to make your opponent regret using removal spells. Nothing is actually truly a safe bet, as even shroud creatures can be easily dealt with, Aside from Kalonian Behemoth from M10, and Wall of Denial, nothing really avoids removal. Except for maybe running three of each outlander in your sideboard, but even then that's going a bit extreme.

Every deck ive played against since M10 came out has been running mad removal. Then again I have two main decks, Artifact Mill Deck and a Saproling Overrun Deck. Easy target against the two colors i have been running into here lately. White where everyone where im from is running day of judgement or wrath of god. Blue with just a massive assortment of counters. Black, red, and sadely green have all been hate/control decks.
UGH...

black has some crafty alternatives now if you look closly, if you run Dash hopes, Sanguine bonds, Laquatus's Champion with a minion reflector and False cure. ive found these life theft decks rather difficult to manage in a long term game
