I wanted to ask something. If it is possible to take advantage of some rules to do some nasty stuf such as for example. If a card says "search your library for an enchantment" and you have a creature that has changeling (this creature is every creature type) then I can say, well this creature's type is also... enchantment!, or use any other word depending on what the card that searches for other cards says as a matter of fact. Maybe I could use the key word "enchantment" to jump from one rule to an other and do that. Would it be legal? :P I think I already know the answer but I still thought I'd ask :)

I don't mean to be a downer, but I believe it is a matter of what I believe to be called Main type and subtype.

Ex. Creature-Kithkin
(Main) (subtype)

I may or may not be correct, but I had a situation where I tried to cast Extincion to destroy all creatures that were of the type "Artifact" Which a friend of mine said could not work because Artifact Creature is a main type and not a subtype.

Yeah I guess it would be like saying that you wanted to destroy all legendary creatures. It would have worked for both artifacts and legends some years ago but I guess not any more :)
