People probably remember this deck from before. However, I changed it to be based more off the Harabaz/Crab Umbra/Sea Gate combo. I think that I need to take out some higher cost cards for lower cost ones. Any ideas?

Also, I seem to be having problems with getting the right mana out. Can someone help me reformate my mana base?

I am looking for helpful ideas that pertain to the topic at hand.

That is because it is 4 colors... That's too many... I think Blue/Green/Red is enough... or maybe Blue/Green/White for Beatdown...

There is one red card in it. The red card is for the infinite mana combo. . .

Then focus on mana accel and maybe some low cost creatures only...

Well, the problem is kill the Harabaz druid and where will you get your mana... You got to have a backup plan... Not everytime the game will go your way so be prepared... More mana accel or better yet put fetch lands in... No need to be expensive just for example Terramorphic Expanse... And you got to have at least 1 mountain (can be fetched easily with budget fetch lands like expanse) in there... For, again i repeat, backup...

I can second Terramorphic Expanse as a good addition for mana fixing, it will also help thin out the deck.

If you have any or can get hold of any, I would also recommend using Jungle Shrine instead of the Refuges, they'll reduce your reliance on the druids for red mana, plus maybe some Seaside Citadels for the other colours. (unless you're trying to keep this deck in Standard)

Just realised you have 25 lands in there, feels a little land heavy to me - maybe try with 23 lands and a couple more Hada Freeblades if you have any?

I changed my mana base and added an Ondu Cleric. Is the mana curve better now?

Ok turbine, you want my opinion ill be happy to give it, though I need to have a question answered first.  What is your focus?  Ie... How do you want your deck to win?  You mention focusing in on the druid crab combo, yet you only have 1 card that can truely benefit from the potential that combo has, and the sad part is that card can only be played if the druid is around.  If I recall your orignal incarnation it had more of a focus, granted it was pump your guys run them over.  but now you are all over, you have pump, mill, burn as your win cons, but nothing solid in any of them.  Not to mention your combo relies on you have 4 allys in the field.  now i dont know where you play but where, I do I would never count on having 4 of any creature in the field especially ally's.

So anyway get a focus and we can go from their

Long time no see everyone. Saw an add for ally's and had to check it out.

Turbine, I have been playing my ally deck in both extended and standard taking top 4 in all of them in my area. With the ally's I must say that in making your deck the Base color in your deck Needs to be White or Green. Both giving beefy creatures and cheap casts. I go with green for my base color only for the mana correction and mana speed. Harbaraz Druid helps in this department, expecially when i side in commet storm and earthquakes. Its funny being one life above your opponent and kill them with earth quake.

Next, aggro and board control really hurt ally decks. This is due to the fact that you must use a lot them to build up. I use a blue and red for my support colors. Blue i am running Halamar, jwari, and umara main board. Currently sided in i am using mana leak and whispersilk cloak against aggro and control. This works very well in my opinion milling away options, cloning the ally i need more, and in the case of side board removing plays and targets.

In the case of further support I am running lightning bolts, kazuul warlord, and splinter twin. Kazuul warlordd beafs massively itself and other creatures you have. Expecially the ally's that already get 1/1 counters on them, they will now get two for each ally. Splinter twin makes it so you do not have to play all of your ally's from your hand when dealing with control and aggro, not to mention that if played on kazuul warlord you are maxing out 1/1 counters on everything and on halimar excavator you are milling like mad.

Man Lands are essential to your deck. If your not drawing any ally's use a manland to get your point across. I use ragging ravine for my land of choice. Just keeps getting bigger with every attack. Just keep in mind to use no more than three and no less than two for a solid deck usage.

Lastly I use Prophetic Prism for mana correction and allows to draw a card when it comes into play. Three colors can hurt the mana department at times and you will need mana correctors.

Oh yeah, Umbra's are cool and all but remember that cards like disfigure and tombhex will still kill your creature. So with that said remember that vampire's are a pain to play against. Also after experiencing it last night mono white knights control are also a pain in the rear.

But you might get mana screwed... you'll just need something to filter those lands so when you draw a card, the higher probability to get key cards...
