Title: Strictly Better Than

This is supposed to be a fun little exercise. Name cards that are stricktly better than others (ie cards that cost or do the same thing as others, but are better)
ex)
Thunder Bolt > Shock
Doom Blade > Dark Banishing
Ashcoat Bear > Grizzly Bear

WotC has done a good job of trying to avoid these, but they are there, and they are fun to find imo.

Lightning Bolt, to me, is better than any of the "deals 3 damage" cards that have been printed. The only one that is close to it is Incinerate.

Pal, I like your 3 stage progression :D
and two gun, yes you are correct, the fact that doomblade allows for regeneration means that it is not strictly better than dark banishing...my bad!

but the husk is a 2/2 so it CAN be better than the vamp...even tho most would say that normally the vamp is better than the husk.

I wouldn't say BoP is strictly better than Llanowar Elf. True, you get flying and 1 any color, but Llanowar is an Elf and is more of a key to elf decks than BoP... so mostly better, but not strictly better.

Only Kodama's Reach is an arcane spell... Can be used on spirit deck...

I wouldn't say reassembling is always better it returns tapped, as versus straight up regeneration.

For an actual contribution, Liliana's Caress > Megrim. It's cheaper AND causes life loss instead of damage! Totally getting a playset for my Spectre deck...
