Title: Primeval Titan

What has Wizards of the Coast done??? Primeval Titan is WAY TOO strong. Think of this, I'm playing a green deck with Scapeshift, Cloudposts, Urzalands, Primeval Titans, and Amulet of Vigors. I could get 16 colorless mana on turn 4. This card is going to change the world of green mana!

I really want to make the deck that I was talking about.

I know, but It still works with any deck that allows green to be played in it. I mean, searching for shocklands, duals, urzatron, or even a Gaea's Cradel is still pretty nuts. This allows people to just go bonkers with the ramping.

Gaeas's Cradle. I had forgotten about that one.

Oh god.... The Sun Titan combo until Shards of Alara gets bumped out of extended......

I don't care how much land you have you can't beat my Sun Titan

Sun Titan is a lot like Grave Titan. It'll give you board advantage, over card advantage. Where as Primeval Titan lets you get board AND card advantage. It weeds your deck out, and builds the board at the same time. Sun Titan is good, if you have fetches in the yard, or a Jace Beleren. But over all, it's not nearly as potent as Primeval Titan.

Sun Titan + Dauntless Escort. Every turn being hit with a 6/6 Indestructible creature with vigilance!

Primeval Titan+ Bear Umbra = Search your library for 2 lands and put it into play, while swinging with an 8/8 industructable creature.

Totem armor stops destroy effects and damage. How is that any different then Industructable?

It does it once, when Sun Titan attacks he brings back Dauntless Escort. Sac Escort and now all creatures are indestructible. Cast say Martial Coup, now you got a problem on your hands.

It's just a situational difference. Either way a double terror at the right time will kill both combos. But if you martial coup'd then the Primeval Titan would still be alive. The only difference is the creature will have dropped to a 6/6, and the lands will come back into play tapped. But at least my combo won't get stopped by a Wall of Denial.

Sun Titan could bring back your auras onto himself. Boar Umbra would be pretty great.

Ummm, Sun Titan brings stuff out of it's controller's graveyard. Not any graveyard. It's stupid, but not broken.

But yes, it could bring back aura's back onto itself if they're in the yard.

What...? I'm confused. Sun Titan brings stuff back from the graveyard. I thought that's what we were talking about.

Ahhh, so we just had a classic misunderstanding. No worries. But that would be broken if it did it out of anyone's gy.

Although Grave Titan is pretty nuts too. I mean... it's like the perfect non-zombie card to have in a zombie deck.

You do have a point there about the wall. One, I knew it was out of your graveyard. Two, I didn't realize it wasn't only creatures. I did come across Knight of the White Orchid. That won't catch up to the land gap but it will squeeze the gap and give field advantage. Plus, if you kill the knight, he'll come back and give more land. If it permanents then there are plenty of buff or hindering cards....Oblivion Ring..... Yea, Naturalize it but he attacks and it's back.

primeval titan > all other giants.

plus with him out on turn 3 or 4, you can then proceed to cast the rest of them on the subsequent turns lol

The best part of the titan is, you can bring back techtonic edge or strip mine from the deck along with Man lands. 42 Manlands? Is almost playable in type 2.

Tectonic Edge and Quicksand would be nice.

Well those are fine, but no one see's a bojuka bog coming. I mean, it gets hellspark elementals and Vengevines? It's just silly.

But oveall the Primeval Titan is going to be nuts. I like Sun titan just fine, but it's more like a recovering card then a search card. I'm sure I'd rather have Primeval over sun in Limited. But I think Grave titan will have the largest impact on limited.

Exactly!!!

I'm just a fan of surprises. I run one in my deck right now, mainly because you never know when it comes in handy.

Against a lot of decks. The only real way to keep things out of the game these days is to exile it. And the bog is the easiest way to do that.

Dredge mostly though. And necromancy like Liliana Vess.

And flashback, unearth and against the big eldrazi'sthat let you shuffle that stuff back into your deck. With Time Reversal on the horizon as well, it'll be a huge advantage for them just to shuffle their hand back into their library while you get your graveyard and hand.

What do you mean? You mentioned Dredge, I mentioned a few other things that should be included with it.

I also mentioned that with another card being released that the bog might be better than you thought. *shrugs* it's not really a combo just an idea at this point.

My bad. "Awkward" is the proper spelling, but I really don't care. But luckily for me, I choose a career that doesn't require proper spelling all the time.

My brother is 3 years older than me. When I was passing by him doing homework. I scanned the paper and pointed out a quick spelling error. He got mad at me for pointing it out.
