I know this is a stupid question, but if you use the ability of Scion of the Ur-Dragon and get Vorosh, the Hunter (or Kilnmouth Dragon) and put +1/+1 counters on him, do the counters stay after Scion is no longer a copy? If so, when he copies a new dragon, do the counters still give him a bonus? Thanks.

If counters are placed on a Scion of the Ur-Dragon, they stay even after the 'copying' ability wears off.

But, by making Scion a copy of something, it's not the same as bringing a creature onto the battlefield, so Kilnmouth's amplify ability can't trigger if Scion were to become a copy because it isn't coming into play; Scion just takes the characteristics of a dragon that you put in the graveyard.

Hope that helps! :)
