Title: Question about Stifle???

How would Stifle and Energy Field work together. First of all, I think it would work since Energy Field has a triggered ability. But do I have to Stifle it right when I cast it? Or it can be delayed, or when a card is about to go to my graveyard? And does this last indefinitely, like once I stifle it, it's like the triggered ability doesn't apply anymore, or would I have to Stifle it every time a card is about to go to my graveyard, to prevent the sacrifice ability?

You would play stifle when the trigger goes on the stack, in the case of energy field when a card goes into your graveyard. Like a counter spell, stifle is a one time use and when another card goes into your graveyard it will trigger again, which ironically would be stifle, unless its on a stick
