Title: Tendrils or Consume?

Which do you think is better? Tendrils of Corruption, or Consume Spirit?

For me, it really depends on the situation.

If the have a huge creature on my back, but I know I can kill them, Consume Spirit is a little better because If I'm gonna do damage, I'm gonna go for their life.

for the most part, Consume spirit is a power card and Tendrils is stall.  overall, consume is probably better.

Consume Spirit's damage comes from black mana sources and doesn't need to be a swamp... More damage early game with enough mana sources... Still great damage for end game but it consumes much of your mana to do more damage...

Tendrils of Corruption's damage comes from swamps and is mediocre for early game... and hard hitting at most on mid to end game...

Overall, i go for Consume Spirit/Drain Life... They are great all throughout the game... Not just for early, mid or end game...
