Combo-based
Weenie/Stompy
Board Control
Card Advantage (Card draw, Discard, Mill)
Poisoning your opponent (Poisonous creatures)
Instant wins (Turn one wins, Door to nothingness wins, During your upkeep wins like Mortal Combat, Near-death experience, etc.)

I love board control and toying with my opponent to see if it's possible for them to break free. --- then again, I usually play multiplayer, so board control is awesome, but really hard to come by.


I prefer to win through politics and diplomacy ;D

depends who Im playing againest and what deck I'm using, for example there is a really arrogant bastard where I play sometimes, when I play againest him my favorite way to win is a 1/1 beatdown, just alot of control to keep the field clear, some unblockable abilitys like crafty pathmage and just go at him with this dinky 1/1 festering goblin like thing.  I even drop some beats down and keep them on defense just to piss him off that he is losing to a 1/1.

Waiting for my opponent to attack me while playing my R/B deck when they have 5 or less life. I wait until the declare blockers step and cast Breath of Malfegor. My favorite Multiplayer finisher is a fun suicide brough on by Sheperd of Rot and Maggot Carriers.

Pandemonium + Saproling Burst. that shit was epic back in the day lol

also i once had a 9999 Flying Vampiric Rat from Hell (Crypt rat with Sadistic Glee x2 + Vampiric Embrace +
Whispersilk Cloak

but my fave win-con is Imperious Perfect + Llanowar Elf + Intruder Alarm + Altar of Dementia....i make 1,000,000,000  Elf tokens, then instead of  attacking with them, i sac them to make you mill

whenever I defeat 8 or more players in one turn, weather its with rocket launcher or ridiculous sanguine bond combos, and all underdog finishers rule

My token generator deck the runs the timespiral thallids (esp. sporesower and ancient), paradox haze, and double season, record is 40 tokens a turn... BWWWAAAHAAW!!!!
