Title: Honden Enchantment Deck Help

I am trying to build a relatively inexpensive enchantment deck using the Hondens from Kamigawa. So far I am using:

All of the Hondens
Celestial Ancient
Greater Auramancy
Sigil of the Empty Throne
Path to Exile
Enduring Ideal
Darksteel Ingot
Argothian Enchantress
Yavimaya Enchantress
Enchantress's prescence
Mirror Gallery

But it needs help. Does anyone have any good cards or suggestions for this deck?

Counterspells up the ying-yang! That's the only way I could see this deck survive.


Tranquil Grove would be an absolute nightmare to this deck.

Paradox mist. If you kill by damage from the red honden, then you can double it by taking another upkeep. up to 5 upkeep a turn form 1 normal and 4 hazes should help.

Solitary Confinement; Pentad Prism; Form of the Dragon; Paradox Haze. Add this to you deck, take out all copies of the Hondens as well as the Mirror and you should have a blast!

The point is a honden deck. You can make the hondens work, not take them out. Form of the dragon is a good one though. Unfortunately form using it i find that since it sets you life at the end of you turn, you are quite vurnable. Still, it works.

i don't mean for you to take out all of the Hondens, just the other three copies of each; that way you don't need the Mirror Gallery and it makes the Enduring Ideal have more to get from your deck. The Paradox Haze will get you more inchantments during you multi upkeeps. Solitary Confinement will keep you in the game. the blue honden will give you drawing power to keep feeding the Solitary Confinement. Form of the Dragon will keep anything that doesn't fly from attacking you. Add Wheel Of Sun And Moon and the discarding will go to the bottom of your library. Add Sterling Grove or Privileged Position and your enchantments can't be targeted. I have won many of multi-player games with this deck!! I've won so much that the other players band the deck from being played!

Anybody have something that goes well with form of the dragon?. I find that being set at 5 life at the end of my turn is dangerous to play. I know that it is some protection but most every turn life gain doesn't go off at end of turn, but rather beginning of turn. It is risky. Any advice?

Perhaps morphing a Fortune theif? I know it's not the best idea,or maybe lich's tomb? Aother idea may be trying to play red/green with it and use cards like wellwisher,raking canopy, and priest of titania(for mana excel)in a red/green elf deck. Form of the Dragon is definitely a very powerful card, but playing it effectively may be difficult. Another idea to try may be a red/white deck using Idyllic tutor and mana excel artifacts to cast it. Soul Warden and Chalice of life could very well keep you alive long enough to kill your opponent.
