(To surveil 2, look at the top two cards of your library, then put any number of them into your graveyard and the rest on top of your library in any order.) 2024-01-12 When you surveil, you may put all the cards you look at back on top of your library, you may put all of those cards into your graveyard, or you may put some of those cards on top and the rest of them into your graveyard.

2024-01-12 You perform the actions stated on a card in sequence. For some spells and abilities, you'll surveil last. For others, you'll surveil and then perform other actions.

2023-10-13 A spell cast using jump-start will always be exiled afterward, whether it resolves, it's countered, or it leaves the stack in some other way.

2023-10-13 If a card with jump-start is put into your graveyard during your turn, you'll be able to cast it right away if it's legal to do so, before an opponent can take any actions.

2023-10-13 If an effect allows you to pay an alternative cost rather than a spell's mana cost, you may pay that alternative cost when you jump-start a spell. You'll still discard a card as an additional cost to cast it.

2023-10-13 When casting a spell with jump-start, you must still follow any timing restrictions and permissions, including those based on the card's type. For instance, you can cast a sorcery using jump-start only when you could normally cast a sorcery.

2023-10-13 You may planeswalk only in games using the Planechase variant. If you are instructed to planeswalk in any other game, nothing happens.
