Island is Jeskai ascendancy, from Khans of Tarkir. ornithopter is not needed, just a creature with some sort of evasiveness. With all in play, cast retraction helix on your creature, tap it and bounce a 0 cmc non creature permanent (tormod's crypt in this example). Play it from your hand and, thanks to Jeskai Ascendancy, untap your creature and put a +1/+1 counter on it. More creatures you have, more fun.

For it to be standard like your title, Tormod's Crypt and Accorder's Shield are your only options.

Also, the Ascendancy doesn't give +1/+1 counters, only +1/+1 until end of turn, like the Jeskai clan Prowess ability does.

Actually, You have also Briber's Purse, from the same set, or Astral Cornucopia from Born of the Gods. If you don't mind the number of combo pieces, you can obtain the same goal with another creature and Springleaf Drum on the battlefield instead of Tormod's Crypt.
