To be honest, I enjoyed the Born of the Gods prerelease, but really didn't get excited for the cards or Theros's. JtN is looking tasty. Strive is to Heroic what Scry should have been for Miracle. Constellation is looking like the mechanic reward that we've been waiting for in this block. I'm really looking forward to the other flash enchantments that are going to be released.

How about everyone else?

To early to get a good feel but I'm liking a lot of what I see right now especially gnarled scarhide and underworld coinsmith. though I am a little disappointed with keranos, his ability isn't bad, but when you look at it then at Iroas it's very whatever.

Oh and I'm laying claim to Enchanted Evening with any constellation card right now.

No doubt, Gericault... I'm dusting my Enchanted Evenings off and polishing them to have them looking good when I crush my enemies, see them driven before me, and hear the lamentations of their women.

The red cards thus far are good enough toget me interested but so far I think the white Strive common is the best draft card I've seen for this set (at the time of this post)(I usually figure commons are the best way to choose a color to draft, as it is much more likely to get those cards than the rares). Hail Boros!

A pseudo enduring renewal in standard on a 5/4 indestructible for 3 friggin mana

If Pharika is a fraction as good I'll be broke

Nyx looks pretty interesting. but I feel like black ATM feels sad at the spoilers so far.

Have you seen Master of the Feast yet? 3 for a 5/5 flier that Howling Mines the opponents? I want to test it out! Legacy makes that a first turn that will be very formidable.

That Black/White god seems pretty weaksause (compared the sauces of other gods/goddesses). I guess in the right deck (just like most cards) he can be exploited.

Black Green is the weakest of all the gods. If it made snakes for you only or could remove any type of card it might be more useful as it is. I can only see me using it in my novelty tribal gorgons.

yeah Pharika was a big disappointment on the standard front, though her ability could have potential on the commander front dealling with the reanimate shenagians. in standard i can see her more just used as a beater then for her ability though i think i would prefer dreg mangler as my 3 drop in that position.

@pal- each to there own. frankly i find i like that that every removal spell has the additional text "pay 3 life or deal with this next turn". in a standard with filled with underworld connections and shocklands that life can only be paid so much

I'd probably still prefer cemetery reaper to deal with reanimation as for one mana more I get a 2/2

1. Tribal Minotaurs

2. Red seems to be really strong.

All red Minotaur deck called "Red Bull." But you'll have to put in some equipment so it gives you wings...
