So ? I think that the scythe would leave your creature on the first kill and would get attached to something else (what ever you killed) then you would have to re-attach the scythe... Am I right?

Well, because the equipment's ability triggers once for each creature killed by the cutthroat, which is 7 at the max, unless you have another boost giving her more power. So, you take each creature that the Cutthroat killed in combat, and the equipment stays equipped to the creature who's trigger you placed on the stack first.
