Yeah, this was broken the last time I posted it, but now it works.

Well, this of course doesn't work if the know the
conceed rule.

Training Ground, Gilder Bairn, Paradise Mantle,
Gemstone Array: Gives you Infinate mana.

Filigree Sages: Allows
you to untap Scepter indeffinatly

Mindslaver: Allows you to
decide they should ante

Quicksilver Amulet, Enduring Renewal: Allows you to play the Fiend on their turn infinately.

Then once you have anted their entire library just
let the mill finish them and get their
deck as a prize.  Yes,
this is ridiculous to pull off, I pretty sure something is wrong with
it.  But if you can make a no conceed house rule, then you will gain all
their deck if you can gain full control over the board.

Firstly, check the Oracle Text for Timmerian Fiends:

BBB, Sacrifice Timmerian Fiends: The owner of target artifact may ante the top card of his or her library. If that player doesn't, exchange ownership of that artifact and Timmerian Fiends. Put the artifact card into your graveyard and Timmerian Fiends from anywhere into that player's graveyard. This change in ownership is permanent.

Your opponent needs an Artifact in play for you to be able to play the ability, though you can get around this using Donate.

You would need to be playing with a very specific set of players who would accept a 'no concession' house rule and agree to play for ante, most players wouldn't consider it (part of the reason WOTC stopped making ante cards).

You can always make a copy of that creature with Kiki-Jiki if it's legal to exchange a non-existing card...

tokens count as creatures and go to the grave when they die, but lin sivvi check out Nezumi Graverobber for your timmerian fiends and u can keep using if u have infinite mana, which u do

It wouldn't work. If you made a token of the Fiends, the exchange would never take place, because there's not a card in Magic that let's you exchange something and pull yours back at the last second somehow. Since they're a token, they would be exiled when you sacrifice them, and the exchange wouldn't happen.

As for the Nezumi Graverobber, I don't see how that's relevant. Even if it was an original Fiends in thier graveyard, exiling would just put it into thier exile zone. They would still have ownership of the card.

*** I've found a group of players who are willing to allow the use of ante cards. It's actually really fun because almost no one uses any rares, and the decks seem to be alot more versatile than the decks i normally see. I recommend trying this to anyone.

paradox-I think he is refering to the flip side of graverobber, the nighteyes and with the unlimited mana using his return from grave ability to keep replaying the fiends.

However, while you can keep return it to play its ability won't do anything for you, just as you can't sacifice a creature you don't control, you can't exchange ownership of a creature you don't own.

Your combo wouldn't work. You have no way of getting the fiends back into your hand. Enduring Renewal doesn't work because the fiends don't go to your graveyard.

No the fiends do go to my graveyard, because they normal have the option of countering the effect by anteing an additional card, which using mindslaver I force them to do.  So the fiends go to my graveyard instead of doing any sort of trade.

You've still got the problem that the Fiends only target artifacts.

I don't understand. Donate gives the control, not ownership.

Yup. Also Ashnod's Transmogrant, Mishra's Groundbreaker, and Liquimetal Coating. Probably others too...
