Title: We're overdue

We're overdue for a global mass extinction. Since we as a species are late to the party, we may be spared extinction. Our best defense to this is the simple fact, we have no predators. On the flip side, that didn't make a damn bit of difference for T-Rex. So, what will wipe us out? Zombies? Not likely, since no disease ever discovered reanimates dead tissue. Unless you consider a rabies infected (rage zombie), we don't have to worry about zombies. Also, since rabies can't survive aerosolization, it can only spread via fluidic contact with the infected and it can be "cured" as long as it's taken before symptoms present. After symptoms present, a bullet in a vital part is the only cure. So, how will it all end? What's your opinion? Will the world end in fire or ice?

Ha! That's an awesome response! Chances are though, it'll happen when you're tapped out of blue mana. Keep a Force of Will and a throw away blue spell handy. Keep that life total above 1 too.

Pokemon Fire Red? Fire is much more entertaining than ice. Fire's the way to go.

contagious? that shit is genetic. stupid people are pretty much the reason why governments go broke. no one but you is at fault for your reliance on welfare. you could have applied yourself better, gone to college or a trade school. fucking morons...seriously, i have no tolerance for stupidity. 1 act of stupidity should get you a warning and re-education. 2nd offense of stupidity, immediate and very public execution. sit back and watch as the average i.q. starts a trend of rising.

as for zombies, pretty good chance we'd survive that. most people have seen at least 1 zombie movie. remove or destroy the head. problem solved.

Exactly it's not hard to rise above charity, heck you dont even need college or trade school per say (though it will make things easier), but definitely some form of work...my buddy started off in construction 2 years ago and now he makes 15$ /hour driving machines...I was a cashier and now Im a tire technician...its all about twoo things...Hard work and willing to adapt...something welfare "victims" can't seem to grasp. PS: Not trying to stir political controversy just trying to see everyone's opinions on it...so please treat everyone's opinion fairly, because it is their right to have it.

I'm a commercial driver in tge process of buying a fleet of trucks. my education for this job was 140 hours training. it costs between $3,000-$6,000 for the training. there are a lot of trucking companies that will pay for your training. your commitment to that company is usually a year. what job field starts entry level barely out of schhol people at upwards of $45,000/year? I started at $0.28/mile. doesn't seem like much until you do the math. $0.28/mile x speed limit = pay per hour. example: $0.28/mile x 60mph = $16.80/hr. There are states with really high speed limits. utah, for example, has a speed limit on I-80 of 80mph. I make $0.52/mile. let's do the math. :) $0.52 x 80 = $41.60/hr. and most of what i do is drive with occasional physical work such as opening the trailer door, sliding the trailer tandems, dropping/hooking a trailer, pre-trip inspection, and paperwork. every couple days gotta fuel the tractor. i stand to make in the next 5 months well into the millions of dollars. so, keep some respect for the truckers who bring you all your toys, food and magic cards.

Bear in mind, that if we truckers didn't move for just 2 days, the economy collapses. More than a few drivers are at that point. Mostly due to the super tight federal regulations.

My Dad always talks(read gripes) about that...if half of what he says is true then I cant say Id blame truckers for wanting to park it...

Believe me, we would love to park our trucks. Mainly for the dumbass 4-wheelers that think it's a great idea to get into the truck only lane on I-5 N/S. There is a reason your stupid little car isn't allowed in that lane! Back to what I was going to say. We'd love to just park it, but a sitting truck costs money. still gotta pay insurance, registration, IFTA, weight class documents, etc...a moving truck pays its own bills though. There is a movement in the trucker community saying we should collectively take a couple days off to prove a point. We don't move, train yards shut down as do the ship yards. Intermodal is gone. Production plants shut down, people lose they're jobs. Stores empty in a couple days. Gas stations run out of fuel. See the problem if we truckers get pissed off as a whole? Next time a federal law hits the ballot box regarding truckers, really stop and think how you'll get whatever it is you want when you're out of gas, or any other item for that matter.
